A young girl who sells Bibingka (Rice Cake) was spotted singing high notes while peddling to attract customers.
Facebook user Axel Sioson couldn’t help but videotape her performance as she sang the song “Sayang na Sayang” along the busy road of Pasay City.
Singing is the girl’s strategy so that passersby would take notice of her and be interested on purchasing her bibingka. Her song, “Sayang na Sayang” was popularized by Aegis, a local Filipino band known for their high notes. Notably, the young girl managed to reach these notes with ease.
The video made waves online and has about 3,000 views on YouTube. The girl’s identity remains unknown, but many commenters believe to have seen and heard the little girl. They said that the girl has the potential to be the next Filipino YouTube sensation or Charice Pempengco.
Commenters also urged her to join the next “The Voice Kids Philippines” because of her raw talent. This way she’ll have a chance to further help her family financially. Selling bibingka in the streets is her own way of providing support.
