President Benigno Aquino III will visit the Iglesia Ni Cristo Stadium on Monday, July 21, 2014 for an inauguration ahead of centennial celebration, Malacañang has announced.
This Monday, INC executive minister Eduardo Manalo will inaugurate the Ciudad de Victoria. The July 21 inauguration is expected to draw thousands of believers as well as hundreds of politicians from different areas and countries.
The 50-hectare tourism enterprise zone Ciudad de Victoria is located in Bocaue, Bulacan, which also houses the Philippine Arena, the “world’s largest indoor stadium.”
Included in the inauguration is the Philippine Arena that has a 55,000 audience capacity.
ABS-CBN News said other major structures expected to be completed in the area in the near future are the Philippine Stadium, New Era University, Eraño G. Manalo Medical Center, as well as shops, hotels, and leisure parks.
The Iglesia Ni Cristo, also popularly known as “INC”, will be hosting their centennial celebration on July 27, 2014. The date of celebration was declared by President Aquino as a special non-working holiday to commemorate the 100th founding anniversary of Iglesia ni Cristo.
Proclamation No. 815 declaring 2014 as the Iglesia ni Cristo Centennial Year was issued to “enhance public awareness” on the contributions of the INC to national development.
