A 4.6 magnitude earthquake shook parts of San Felipe, Zambales Thursday afternoon, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
In its earthquake bulletin, Phivolcs said the earthquake struck 30 kilometers southwest of San Felipe, Zambales.
The earthquake was of tectonic origin and had a depth of 25 km.
Phivolcs reported the following intensities:
- Intensity III – Olongapo City
- Intensity I – Guagua, Pampanga
Phivolcs said there was no reported damage to infrastructure, and aftershocks are not expected.
