The minors were spotted by the MPD inside a set of bars near De La Salle University and College of Saint Benilde, The Lasallian said in a tweet.

The LaSallian reported past 10 p.m. that the said minors who have been caught will be turned over to the DSWD and will have to be fetched by their parents.

Initial tweet from the official student publication of De La Salle University said that at 10:30 pm, more than 50 minors have reportedly been taken into custody by the MPD, but an update one hour later stated that a total of 23 confirmed minors have been taken into custody by the MPD and DSWD.

The LaSallian then reported that majority of those in custody were not from DLSU and CSB per report from the MPD.

“DSWD” became a trending topic nationwide after reports of police raid near DLSU went online. Others made hilarious tweets about it.

A certain Twitter user named Jordan Shi tweeted, “Please let those kids stay at the DSWD until tomorrow morning so we can go there and laugh at them in person. #squatterproblems #pacoolpa”
