Miss Bulgaria Radost Todorova, one of now-reigning Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach’s pageant “besties” during the competition, has called her new found friend Ron Cruz (the blogger who made her famous) right from Facebook, wishing him a happy holiday.
Cruz revealed Miss Bulgaria called him in and greeted him “Maligayang Pasko.”
“Someone called-in to say Maligayang Pasko #MissBulgaria,” Ron Cruz said in his latest Facebook status.
The said status has garnered more than 400 likes and a number of shares in less than 1 hour.
In a December 22 post, Cruz pieced together screenshots of Todorova cheering Wurtzbach after host Steve Harvey announced that she was the winner and not the Colombian beauty queen.
“Even if we already know what to do, we always look for that one friend who will push us to do it. We all need a #MissBulgaria in our lives,” said Cruz’s post that now garnered about a 100,000 likes and at least 2,500 shares.
He also posted a screenshot of Miss Bulgaria’s friend request to him and captioned it: “Me: I need a Miss Bulgaria in my life; Miss Bulgaria: Ok.; I DIED.”
Filipino fans have favored the Bulgarian representative as she has shown so much support for Wurtzbach during the competition, dubbing her as “Best Supporter” and “Bestie of the Year.”
“Memes” and screenshots of Todorova cheering on Wurtzbach, after the latter was proclaimed Miss Universe 2015, has circulated on social media, earning the praise and hearts of many.
