TOP 10 PASSERS_August 2019 Veterinary Medicine Board Exam Results

The Board of Veterinary Medicine and the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) officially declared the list of top 10 passers (topnotchers) in August 2019 Veterinary Medicine Board Exam results.

The Professional Regulation Commission through its Board of Veterinary Medicine conducted the veterinary medicine board exam in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao and Tuguegarao on August 14, 15 and 16 (Wednesday to Friday).

The members of the Board of Veterinary Medicine who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Ma. Elizabeth D. Callanta, Chairman; Dr. Mariano LL. Jovellanos and Dr. Maximino M. Montenegro, Members.

The three-day exam covered the following subjects: veterinary anatomy, veterinary physiology and veterinary parasitology (August 14); veterinary pathology, veterinary pharmacology and zootechnics (August 15); and veterinary microbiology and public health and veterinary medicine and surgery (August 16). August 2018 Veterinary Medicine Board Exam

In the August 2018 Veterinarian Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 455 out of 950 examinees passed the Veterinarian Licensure Examination.

Philip John Salvador Sajol of Central Mindanao University topped the exam with a rating of 83.66 percent.

Rachel Monique Palamiano Ajero (Central Bicol University of Agriculture – Pili) and Arvin Tabilas Cuevas (Cagayan State University-Tuguegarao) placed second and third with ratings of 83.52 and 82.84 percent, respectively.

In the August 2017 Veterinarian Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 391 out of 862 passed the Veterinarian Licensure Examination given this month.

Leynard Marvin Santos from Central Luzon State University in Nueva Ecija topped the board examination with a rating of 86.06%.

Rowland Awiten from Central Mindanao University came in second with 85.38%, while Larry Capuno Jr. from University of the Philippines Los Baños placed third with 85.08%.

August 2016 Veterinary Medicine Board Exam

A graduate of Central Luzon State University (CLSU) landed No. 1 in the August 2016 Veterinarian Licensure Examination. Moreover, five others also made it to the Top 10 grabbing 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th places.

They were among the 50 CLSU examinees who hurdled the examination administered by the Professional Regulation Commission on August 23-25, 2016.

Topnotcher Dr. Princess Charmaine T. Herrera, obtained the highest rating of 85.42% among the 327 passers from various institutions/universities in the country. She graduated magna cum laude on July 1, 2016. A native of San Miguel, Bulacan, Dr. Herrera is the first lady-topnotcher produced by the CLSU-CVSM.
