Here is the initial list of the top 10 performing law schools in the Philippines in the 2019 Bar exams.
The list only included law schools which had 20 or more examinees who took the Bar examinations held at the University of Santo Tomas in four Sundays of November 2019.
Data were taken from posts on their official Facebook pages.
Ateneo de Davao University ranked No. 1 in the entire country after registering an 88.64 percent overall passing rate with 39 of its graduates passing the bar exams out of 44 takers. AdDu also makred a passing rate of 91.67 percent for first-time takers, with 33 passers out of 36 takers.
University of the Philippines Diliman ranked second with a passing rate of 83.93 percent with 84.25% for first-time takers passing rate.
Ateneo de Manila University came third with 82.73 percent.
University of Santo Tomas ranked fourth 80.82 percent.
San Beda University registered a fifth rank with a 76.31-percent passing rate, while University of San Carlos was ranked sixth with 72.97 percent passing rate.
The passing rate for the 2019 Bar Examinations is 27.36%, Senior Associate Justice Estela Perlas Bernabe, the Bar Chairman, announced on Wednesday, April 29.
This is equivalent to 2,103 examinees who passed out of the 7,685 takers.
