The full results including the list of passers of the September 2019 Respiratory Therapist Board Exam are released online on Thursday, September 19, 2019 or in four (4) working days after the exam. (READ: 8 placed Best Respiratory Therapy Schools in the Philippines for 2018)

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Respiratory Therapy conducted the respiratory therapist licensure examination (RTLE) in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Davao, and Zamboanga on September 17 and 18, 2019.

The members of the Board of Respiratory Therapy who gave the licensure examination are Julita V. Toledo, Chairman; Senen O. Teope and Jesus M. Espinas, Members.

The four-day board exam covered topics from Diagnostics, Pathophysiology, Respiratory Care and Neonatal and Pediatric Care.

Results of September 2019 Respiratory Therapist Board Exam Out

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 838 out of 1,227 passed the Respiratory Therapist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Respiratory Therapy in Manila, Baguio, Davao, and Zamboanga this September 2019. 

The members of the Board of Respiratory Therapy who gave the licensure examination are Julita V. Toledo, Chairman; Senen O. Teope and Jesus M. Espinas, Members.

The results were released in two (2) working days after the last day of examination.

On October 24, 25, 28 and 29, 2019, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line.  Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.  Those who will register are required to bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 piece short brown envelope.  Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

Release of September 2019 Respiratory Board Exam Results

Per RTLE schedule and updates, the release date of September 2019 Respiratory Therapist Licensure Examination results is September 20, 2019 (Friday) or in two (2) working days after the last day of said respiratory therapist licensure examination (RTLE).

Registration of Passers

Those who will register are required to bring the following:

  • duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • current Community Tax Certificate (cedula)
  • 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag)
  • 2 sets of documentary stamps
  • 1 short brown envelope with name and profession

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Oathtaking of Passers

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examinations WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

Physician board exam verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online. Visit PRC’s “Verification of Rating” service and enter the required information to verify your identity. Note that this can be available in few days after the exam.

8 placed Best Respiratory Therapy Schools in the Philippines for 2018

The ranking of the best respiratory therapy schools in the Philippines for 2018 has been released, which currently featured only 8 out of the 20 colleges and universities offering respiratory therapy undergraduate programs.

San Pedro College-Davao City took the lead for respiratory therapy with 76.02% overall score after taking into account its performance in the respiratory therapist licensure examination this year, accreditation status, and faculty-student ratio.

Cagayan State University-Andrews Campus made the 2nd rank on the list for 2018, ahead of the Universidad de Zamboanga at 3rd rank, Pines City Colleges at 4th rank, and University of Perpetual Help System Dalta-Las Piñas at 5th rank.

Rounding out the remaining three places for the top 8 performing schools are the Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation at 6th rank, Mary Chiles College at 7th, and Lorma Colleges at 8th.

Top Performing Respiratory Schools in the Philippines for 2018

The top performing schools in the September 2019 Respiratory Therapist Licensure Examination as per Commission Resolution No. 2017-1058(C) series of 2017 were Cagayan State University-Andrews Campus in Tuguegarao City, registering 111 passers out of 114 examinees or 97.37% passed the licensure examination. CSU was folowed by San Pedro College-Davao City with 105 passers out of 113 examinees or 92.92% successfully passed the RTLE 2018.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 740 out of 1,018 passed the Respiratory Therapist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Respiratory Therapy in Manila, Baguio, Davao, and Zamboanga this September 2018.

The members of the Board of Respiratory Therapy who gave the licensure examination are Julita V. Toledo, Chairman; Senen O. Teope and Jesus M. Espinas, Members.

The results were released in two (2) working days after the last day of examination.

Cagayan State University was the top performing school in the September 2018 Respiratory Therapist Licensure Examination (RTLE) with a 100 percent passing rate.

September 2017 Respiratory Therapist Licensure Examination

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 597 out of 974 passed the Respiratory Therapist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Respiratory Therapy in Manila, Baguio, Davao, and Zamboanga this September 2017.

The members of the Board of Respiratory Therapy who gave the licensure examination are Julita V. Toledo, Chairman; Senen O. Teope and Jesus M. Espinas, Members.

The results were released in one (1) working day after the last day of examination.

Cagayan State University was the sole top performing school with a 96.49 percent passing rate. 

September 2016 Respiratory Therapist Licensure Examination

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 582 out of 818 passed the Respiratory Therapist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Respiratory Therapy in Manila, Baguio, Davao, and Zamboanga this September 2016.
