A graduate of Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU)-Valenzuela topped the physical therapist and occupational therapist licensure examination last August 10-11 wherein only 64.57% of the total examinees passed, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Wednesday.
With an average of 88.0 percent, Alexis Bernardo Temblique led more than 1,200 examinees in the licensure examination that was held in the cities of Manila, Baguio, and Cebu.
Three Riverside College grads placed second, third, and sixth with 87.35%, 86.85%, and 85.65%, respectively. They were Takuya Nojas Aiuchi, Adnan Nillos Balisi, and Valerie Mae Geanga Tolentino. Meanwhile, two Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila alumni, Rose Angelis Mesa Bartolome and Adrianne Tan-Gatue, earned the fourth and fifth spots with 86.65% and 86.35% average.
Another PLM graduate, Louraine Dynne Zafra Dela Cruz, and University of Bohol graduate, Brian Klein Villapz Fernandez, scored 85.60 percent and 85.55 percent and landed seventh and eighth.
In the ninth-place was Our Lady of Fatima University-Valenzuela graduate, Roselyn Montero Maderse, with 85.50 percent.
The tenth placer was Our Lady of Fatima University-Pampanga, Inc. graduate, Miracle Baisa Gotiangco, with 85.40 percent.
The results were released in three working days after the last day of examination.
From July 11 to July 12, 2016, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag) and 2 sets of documentary stamps. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination will be announced later.
