The Professional Regulation Commission is going to release the written results of September 2015 Mechanical Engineers and Certified Plant Mechanic licensure examinations, held on September 29 and 30, 2015 in the cities of Manila, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Lucena.
The members of the Board of Mechanical Engineering who gave the licensure examinations are Engr. Leandro A. Conti, Chairman and Engr. Vicente B. Vosotros, Member.
The September 2015 Mechanical Engineering board exam results include the list of passers, as well as the lists of top 10 passers, top performing schools and performance of schools.
The mechanical engineering licensure examination covers the following subjects: industrial and power plant engineering, mathematics, engineering economics, basic engineering sciences, machine design, materials and shop practice.
Meanwhile, the coverage of the certified plant mechanic (CPM) licensure examination includes the following major subjects: elements of power plant machinery, shop machinery practice and elements of industrial plant machinery.
According to PRC Resolution No. 2014-874, the target release date of September 2015 Mechanical Engineering board exam results is on Friday, October 2 or in 2 working days after the last day of exam.
In October 2014, the mechanical engineering licensure examination results were released in 2 working days after the last day of exam. A total of 2,960 out of 3,841 passed the Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination and 32 out of 59 passed the Certified Plant Mechanic Licensure Examination.
In March this year, the results of ME board were released after 3 working days. PRC said that 739 out of 1,247 hurdled the ME board exam and 19 out of 28 passed the CPM exams.
The registration schedule for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will also be announced together with the exam results. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2015-2018 for MECHANICAL ENGINEER; Initial Registration Fee of P450 and Annual Registration Fee of P420 for 2015-2018 for CERTIFIED PLANT MECHANIC.
