Top Performing Physical Therapy Schools in the Philippines for 2018

A total of 19 colleges and universities, 17 private and 2 public schools, are among the top performing physical therapy schools out of 87 in the 2018 aggregate data of physical therapist licensure examinations with at least 20 examinees and above the weighted passing rate of 65 percent. The Angeles University Foundation garnered the No. 1 spot as top performing school in physical therapist licensure examinations for 2018 with a 100 percent weighted passing rate from its 20 examinees.

A total of 3,859 out of 9,899 examinees passed the physical therapist licensure examinations held in February and August last year. The weighted national passing rate for 2018 was 61.05 percent.

The San Pedro College-Davao City placed second with a 96.16 percent weighted passing rate from its 50 successful examinees out of 52 in 2018.

The Silliman University in Dumaguete City came in third place with a 94.87 percent from its 37 passers out of 39 examinees.

The University of Santo Tomas was fourth with a 94.69 percent weighted passing rate from its 107 successful examinees out of 113.

The fifth spot was the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila with 94.25 percent weighted passing rate from its 59 passers out of 73 examinees.

The Mapua University-Manila earned the sixth place with an 84.21 percent weighted passing rate from its 82 successful examinees out of 87.

Completing the top 10 performing schools are the University of the Philippines-Manila (93.62% with 44 passers out of 47 examinees), University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (93.24% with 69 passers out of 74 examinees), Davao Doctors College, Inc. (90.91% with 20 passers out of 22 examinees), and Cebu Doctors College, Inc. (88.37% with 114 passers out of 129 examinees).
