Top Performing Accountancy Schools in the Philippines for 2018 with School Logos

A total of 14 colleges and universities, 11 private and 3 public schools, are among the top performing accountancy schools out of 532 in the 2018 aggregate data of certified public accountant licensure examinations with at least 30 examinees and above the weighted passing rate of 65 percent. Kingfisher School of Business and Finance in Lucao, Pangasinan garnered the No. 1 spot as top performing school in certified public accountant licensure examinations for 2018. The school earned a 97.78 percent weighted passing rate from its 45 examinees. (READ: FULL RESULTS: October 2019 CPA Board Exam Passers List)

A total of 16,299 out of 24,185 examinees passed the certified public accountant licensure examination in May 2019 and October 2018 schedules. The weighted national passing rate for the same period was 26.71 percent.

University of the Philippines-Diliman placed second with a 94.59 percent weighted passing rate from its 70 successful examinees out of 74.

De La Salle University-Manila came in third place with 88.62 percent from its 148 passers out of 167 examinees.

University of Saint La Salle in Bacolod City was fourth with 82.93 percent weighted passing rate from its 34 successful examinees out of 41.

The fifth spot was Divine Word College of Calapan in Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro with 79.49 percent weighted passing rate from its 31 passers out of 39 examinees.

University of San Carlos in Cebu City earned the sixth place with 79.48 percent weighted passing rate from its 77 sucessful examinees out of 97.

Completing the top 10 performing schools are the De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (76.74% with 33 passers out of 43 examinees), University of Santo Tomas (74.95% with 353 passers out of 471 examinees), Bicol University-Daraga (74.07% with 60 passers out of 81 examinees), and University of the Philippines-Tacloban City (71.87% with 23 passers out of 32 examinees).
