A total of 27 colleges and universities, 24 private and 3 public schools, are among the top performing pharmacy schools out of 104 in the 2019 aggregate data of pharmacist licensure examinations with at least 15 examinees and above the weighted passing percentage of 80 percent.
With 50 or more examinees, the University of the Philippines-Manila earned the No. 1 spot as top performing school in pharmacist licensure examinations for 2019 with a 100 percent weighted passing rate from its 66 examinees.
A total of 2,184 out of 5,197 examinees passed the pharmacist licensure examinations held in March and August this year. The weighted national passing rate for 2019 was 67.59 percent.
Saint Louis University in Baguio City placed second with a 98.32 percent weighted passing rate from its 235 successful examinees out of 239 in 2019.
The University of San Carlos came in third place with a 96 percent from its 72 passers out of 75 examinees.
Mariano Marcos State University-Batac was fourth with a 92.40 percent weighted passing rate from its 73 successful examinees out of 79.
The fifth spot was the University of Santo Tomas with a 91.88 percent weighted passing rate from its 77 passers out of 83 examinees.
The University of Santo Tomas earned the sixth place with an 89.22 percent weighted passing rate from its 407 successful examinees out of 443.
Completing the top 10 performing schools of 50 or more examinees are the University of San Agustin (88.48% with 215 passers out of 243 examinees), Saint Paul University-Tuguegarao (86.96% with 60 passers out of 69 examinees), Negros Oriental State University-Dumaguete (84.09% with 74 passers out of 88 examinees), and Our Lady of Fatima University-Valenzuela (83.22% with 238 passers out of 286 examinees).

Meanwhile, De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute, Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod City, University of Makati, and the University of Pangasinan led the group of top performing schools with 15-49 examinees and with at least 80% passing percentage. The four institutions obtained a 100 percent passing percentage with 33, 29, 28, and 18 examinees, respectively.
Adamson University earned the second spot with a 97.91% weighted passing rate from its 47 successful examinees out of 48.
National University-Manila came third with a 96.16% weighted passing rate from its 25 successful examinees out of 26.
Araullo University was fourth with a 94.12 percent weighted passing rate from its 16 successful examinees out of 17.
The fifth spot was the Lyceum Northwestern University-Dagupan City with a 93.55 percent weighted passing rate from its 29 passers out of 31 examinees.
