#WalangPasok_Class suspensions for September 17, 2019, Tuesday

Inclement weather has prompted the local government units to announce class suspensions for September 17, 2019 in some areas. (READ: WalangPasok: Class suspensions for September 18, 2019, Wednesday)

In the latest weather advisory issued late afternoon by state weather bureau, the “Habagat” (Southwest Monsoon) is expected to bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains and isolated thunderstorms over Zambales, Bataan, and Cavite. Residents in these areas are advised to take precautionary measures against possible flashfloods in low lyng areas and landslides over mountainous areas.

Meanwhile, light to moderate with at times heavy rains will be experienced over Metro Manila, Western Visayas and rest of Central and Southern Luzon.

The public and Disaster Risk Reduction Management Offices concerned are advised to continue monitoring for updates to be incorporated in the Public Weather Forecast to be issued at 4:00 PM today and 4:00 AM tomorrow.
