According to the latest weather advisory, in the next 24 hours, monsoon rains will be experienced over Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Benguet, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, and Bulacan.

Residents in these areas are advised to take precautionary measures against possible flashfloods in low-lying areas and landslides in mountainous areas.

Meanwhile, cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila, the rest of Northern Luzon, and the provinces of Aurora, Nueva Ecija, and Rizal.

The public and the disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned are advised to continue monitoring for possible Rainfall Advisories and Heavy Rainfall Warnings, and for updates to be incorporated in the Public Weather Forecast at 4:00 PM today and 4:00 AM tomorrow.
