In the latest weather forecast by the state weather bureau issued at 7:00 PM, 12 August 2019, cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms is expected over the provinces of Pangasinan, La Union, Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Norte, Abra, Benguet, Mt.Province, Ifugao, Kalinga and Apayao caused by southwest monsoon. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms will be experienced over Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, and Aurora.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over Northern Luzon and Aurora Province and the coastal waters will be rough to very rough.
In its 6:00 p.m. advisory, Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan will experience partly cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the South to Southwest will prevail over Visayas, Palawan and Occidental Mindoro and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
