Viral: Toddler nearly drowns in pool caught on CCTV

A viral and disturbing video about a toddler, who is expected to make a full recovery after nearly drowning in a pool, is making rounds on the news feeds.

Toddler Nearly Drowns in Pool - Philippines

He was caught on CCTV on March 28, 2014 at around 8 p.m. attempting to climb the wall that houses a small pool nearly full of water.

The CCTV shows that the kid, believed to be 1-year-old, is at first attempting to climb the shorter wall of the pool. After successfully climbing it, the kid is seen walking carefully on the pool’s edge. He even carefully crawled on the top edge of the pool just to make sure he might not fall.

After reaching the other side of the edge of the pool, the kid is seen turning back and attempting to sit but suddenly fell in the pool.

For over one and a half minute, the kid is seen fighting for his life by waving his hands until he was found floating on the surface of the pool by a kid, who immediately called an adult to get the toddler out of the pool.

The video, which was shared by Trending Videos, garnered over 18,000 Facebook shares and over 1,500 comments as of press time.

No other info is seen in the video but this surely will be shared in other sites and social media.
