A magnitude-4.4 earthquake hit Quezon Province and Metro Manila Thursday afternoon, November 10, 2016, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The earthquake struck an area of General Nakar, Quezon at 3:10 p.m., Phivolcs said.
Multiple aftershocks have followed the quake, the strongest recorded by Phivolcs was a magnitude-4.9 tremor at 7:45 a.m.
Intensity 3 was felt in Quezon City while instrumental intensities at Intensity III was felt in Quezon City and Intensity I in Lucban, Quezon; and Tagaytay CIty.
No tsunami warning was issued.
